This product was terrible. I did not connect to the end to the middle of the pole. If I had money, I would return this garbage. There is no way to raise the bed due to the middle so it was really a shame I didn't have a way to create under bed storage. This was the worst mistake I've ever made, the screws that were the last screws for the base for the middle were so big they didn't fit the holes and I didn't need a damn drill to assemble this bed and gather these pieces together. So it was absolutely horrible, and not only that, it was impossible to put a nut on the other side of the stud because it went into the bed frame. Terrible I could have gone back I would have spent more money and bought something from a non 3rd party it was just horrible.
