I have very little experience with flash but I found it only took me a few minutes to play around with it to get used to the menu interface as it is easy and easy to use was use. .I felt the battery life was a little low and when the battery life ran out I was surprised at how long the charge time was. But then again, I don't have much experience with Flash, so it's probably 100% normal. The build quality seems to be good. I bought it along with the xPro trigger and found them to work well together and easy to use. I was able to set it up in minutes without even looking at the book. While I'm sure there are better light sources out there, for the price you can't really go wrong with this one.
