Now I can see the steps in the garage when I need to take the dogs out in the dark without having to turn on the glaring garage lights. I also put a night light in the bathroom. I live in a remote area with no ambient light at night, so my home is completely black without those flashy little night lights. I like the dimming feature so I can set it to the exact brightness I want. As we have frequent power outages I gave up on color matching as it goes back to white when the power goes out which I like as it's a warm golden white.
