All parts fit well. They don't look cheap. Very good for the price. If you need a fire starter in a small package, it's very effective. The compass is a nice little bonus. Just keep in mind that this is more of a fallback. It works, but if you plan to use it for its intended purpose and frequently, get one of the larger 5" or 6" sticks so you can release more sparks if you're stuck with tinder, which isn't it is ideal. Much easier for the big ones to lean on the log and aim for whatever tinder you have.
