I've been wearing Asics shoes for decades. This is the first time that I am not completely satisfied with a pair. I don't know if they were defective, fake or otherwise, but they didn't fit me. They were too soft and lacked support where needed. The best pair I've ever bought was the Gel Venture 6. They lasted about 8 months before losing functionality and were mostly worn to the gym.
