I would swear Dunkin' Donuts coffee has had a rich, delicious flavor for decades, but after about 6 months it tastes awful (almost soapy), bland and very weak. Increasing the grind from 2 scoops (I use a large mug) to 2 1/2 scoops didn't improve the flavor much. The 12 ounce bag was inferior to the 2 1/2 pound bag. I believe it's adulterated and diluted with God knows what! Now I'm done with Dunkin' Donuts coffee! I switched to Organic Mexican (from Chiapas) 2 pounds of whole beans. It's about 50% more expensive, but the larger £5 bag is reasonable and priced comparable to the Dunkin' Donuts brand (I suspect you can find a cheaper non-organic at a Latin American supermarket). Wow, why did I wait so long to enjoy a cup of excellent coffee? If you like coffee brewed with ground coffee, I suggest staying away from "French brewers” as much as possible, especially those made of glass or plastic. They are grossly overpriced and break or tear very easily - it's a rip off. I microwave the water in a medium-heat measuring cup ($10), then add the crumbs, stir, and let sit for 10 minutes; then pour into my mug through an ordinary kitchen nylon strainer with a handle ($2). This method worked for many years without any wear and tear on the equipment. F French!
