Review on 🦾 BraceAbility XXL Plus Size Back Brace: Ultimate Support for Sciatica and Low Back Pain Relief during Sleep, Work, and Exercise (2XL) by Steven Ferguson

I wear a size 22 dress with a 40" waist and a 53" hip and I usually wear a size 2x in most clothes. I ordered a size up as per the instructions if one is between sizes and when I ordered this I had a 56" hip but 3x (xxxl) was too big for me - in the tightest setting he was still free. I then ordered 2x which work VERY well for me. I use it to relieve my back after a workout because I have to carry heavy bags to the car right after a workout, which can put a strain on my back. For a while I made the mistake of over-tightening, now I just pull it A BIT (about half an inch or an inch) past where it should fall without stretching and it supports my back beautifully . Edit 8/29/2020: After 18 months of fairly regular use, it now needs a tighter lift due to more stretching of the elastic, but it still works very well. I've run it through the washing machine a few times (removed the bones and fastened the velcro to keep it from getting tangled) and hung it to dry with no problems. I'm changing my rating to 5 stars because I didn't expect it to last like this! Great product, will definitely buy again. Also, I've seen some complaints about it rolling or slipping off the hips - if it rolls, you've probably got it on too tight or you need to take out the "bones" (hard part in the middle of the back). For me it flexes with the curve of my waist when I sit, but I took the bones out immediately knowing that a sharp waist/hip curve won't work. It will ride up your thighs over time, but literally anything that isn't habitual. made will do this if your hips are wider than your waist. It holds up well whether you are standing or walking. I try not to bend at the waist when wearing this unless I'm ready to adjust it right away. It's not hard to adjust unless I'm wearing multiple layers on top.
