For years I wore almost nothing but New Balance shoes. It's very hot here in central Texas in July and my everyday NB sneakers get very hot. I was looking for ventilated shoes in my size, 10.5W, this size is hard to come by. As soon as I saw them I ordered them because NB. When I first put them on I thought they had stones in them! It turns out that the arch supports are very large and very hard. They were frankly painful until I introduced the insert and were still bothering me then. As for the fit, if these shoes are 2E I will eat my shoes! They definitely run small compared to all the other NB 10.5 shoes I've ordered. YMMVI pretty much decided to bring them back but I'm really going to miss the great ventilation these 100F days!
