Making lamps shine at full brightness is easy for manufacturers. Getting a good lightbulb to work with your dimming settings isn't always easy, and I've bought lightbulbs that don't get it right depending on the lighting system. These lamps gradually become dimmer and brighter. The transition is not entirely analog, but even between different levels. This way you can select multiple fixtures without having to guess every setting. The lamps use standard sockets and the candelabra is what you would expect from this type of lamp (bright to read but not blinding like a 120w lamp).
