After immersion in water, they expand into a full size sponge, they are durable and really clean without scratching. I used it for the first time on my stove which has stains and I have a ceramic liquid but it didn't work so I thought I'd give it a try and I used this sponge and this boy they are nice and thick and did a great job. I also make scrapbooks so I cut some of these into hearts, stars and other shapes and use them to stamp and stencil the pages of my scrapbook. this is perfect for this purpose because once they are flat I can trace the shape and cut out just as easily as with paper. We try to be more sustainable and every product I use that is better for the environment is another plus for me.
