This is a replacement for an old set of glasses with broken lids. I had the old set for about five years and used it every day. Hopefully the lids in this set will last longer. I hand wash them as recommended. When I compared the cost of replacing the caps with the whole set, it turned out that it was cheaper to buy a new set. Straws are nice features that I won't be using, but they're good for those who enjoy using straws.
