The replacement was very easy and took less than a minute. Two metal latches secure the cover to the air cleaner housing. Take out, lift the lid, pull out the old filter, insert the new one, close the lid, engage the clips, done. This filter, like the OEM, has one corner less rounded than the other three. When you pull out the old filter, note where that less rounded corner is and insert the new filter according to the orientation. It won't fit properly and the lid won't close if you don't. The difference in the less rounded corner is subtle but obvious if you look at it when you take the old one off.
