This device is great for several reasons. This is a ring of light and a stabilizer. It's aimed at mobile filmmakers/content creators, but if you remove the phone mount, it works well with mirrorless cameras and point-and-shoot. I use it to setup my vlog with my Lumix G7. Two cold shoe mounts allow me to mount almost anything on the rig. With my vlog setup, I use it to mount my microphone. Overall I think this is a good light ring as it gives you the light you need with a regular Sony NPF battery and can be used with both cell phones and mirrorless cameras. The ability to take your hands off the camera creates the effect of an even more accurate shot.
