Review on Kohler Awaken Multi-Function Handshower with Slide Bar Kit, Polished Chrome, 27.50 x 3.75 x 2.50 inches by Brinson Quarterman

What I liked: The splint is metal, feels good and is strong. The part that holds the hand shower is plastic but well made and glides smoothly. The rail brackets (used to attach the rail to the wall) are plastic and a slightly different color than metal, although they looked very nice (and I'm picky), they feel solid, but I prefer metal brackets. The hand shower is plastic (which is actually a good thing because if you drop it it won't break your toes), it looked very nice and felt good in the hand. The reason for the 3 stars (besides the plastic clips) is that the hose is awful and may work fine, but it's not metal and looks cheap. My set was polished nickel and the hose didn't match the unit, judging by the look of the hose it would go great with the chrome finish but it's such a cheap looking hose. I instead found a kit from another brand that was cheaper and came with a nice metal hose (it has never been installed since I returned it and I can't comment on the installation or how it actually works).
