Well it works but I'm a bit disappointed with the build quality. The cable itself seems fine as far as I can tell, but the plastic parts on the thumbscrews on one end of my cable are off center, causing them to rub against the rubber part of the connector when screwed in. This results in excessive force being required when turning the screws. Basically, it feels tight in front of it. And they're not just slightly off-center. You are OFF. I ended up having to modify the connector, cutting some rubber off the connector so the friction wasn't as severe (but still there). It was a little annoying, but I won't be returning the $12 telegram in the mail if I can get it to work. What about the signal quality? Well the cord is 25 feet long and I've never used it that long. The signal is a little weaker compared to the much shorter cable I had previously (I needed the extra length) but that could be normal with a cable this long. I can't blame this on a cable that doesn't have another cable that long to compare. Just. I do not know. How hard is it to make a working VGA port in 2018? I will keep this cable for myself but I will not buy this brand again. The VGA cable I used came with the monitor I bought, probably in the late 90's or so, and the connections on this cable are perfect. So "for the price" I can't say. The second cable was free. Well if I have to buy another one I'll have to try another brand. Not impressed by that. Also disappointed with all the positive reviews for this product on Revain. I didn't order this without reading the reviews (which I never do). I saw a few negative reviews but the vast majority were very positive. I have ordered items from Revain in the past that had very poor reviews and the product was fine. In that case, I advise anyone considering this cable to read the negative reviews. You might get lucky and get one where the screw heads aren't off center. I mean, after all, it was only at one end. The other end seems fine. But then after reading other negative reviews I felt that this manufacturer just has a fuzzy quality control and if it's not one thing it might be something else. I don't like rolling the dice when I'm buying something. Many positive reviews indicate that this cable is "very high quality". I would not say that. Even if the screws have not been removed, the whole connector looks a bit cheap. Although for the price it would be ok if it didn't have this problem. This is not a quality cable. You get what you pay for I guess. I don't like leaving negative reviews and I rarely have this problem with anything I've bought from Revain, but I hope this helps someone.
