Review on Gerber Paraframe I Knife: Tanto Point, Black - Medium [31-001731] - Enhanced Precision and Durability by Kevin Apriando

I've had this knife for about 2 months, I wear it every day. My thoughts, in order of importance: 1) The blade becomes razor sharp. I work in maintenance and construction hospitals. Just the other day, I cut off the corner of a thick, carpeted rubber mat in one smooth, clean motion. Thumbs up! 2) The knife is very well built, there is no play in the blade. 3) The lock locks firmly, giving you more confidence when cutting. 4) The size is spot on - I had a Paraframe mini. This is a good compact knife but too small. In my opinion, Paraframe II is too big for everyday use. 5) The tanto point is an excellent option for consistent, safe cutting, similar to a box blade/utility knife. 6) The thumbsticks on both sides are very good. The blade is difficult to unscrew with just your thumb. BUT with practice you can pull the blade out a bit with two fingers and then open the rest with a thumb stud, all with one hand. The nice thing is that the blade is tight. 7) The side clip is big enough to put in your pocket and tight enough to stay there. 8) The black finish is very sharp and very smooth. It seems quite durable but will wear out but honestly that makes it even better because it is USED and not just a showpiece. If you are looking for a great everyday knife without a large investment, you will be very happy with this knife.
