Review on 🚰 Friho Lead-Free Stainless Steel Single Handle Pull Out Sprayer Spring Bar Sink Kitchen Faucet - Commercial Brushed Nickel Finish by Jonathan Wilson

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Nozzle Broke after 9 weeks of use! / Update: Friho sent replacement part

The faucet arrived prior to a kitchen remodel. It was packaged great and shipped on time. We kept it in the box for two months until the kitchen countertops were installed. My husband installed the faucet himself at end of Aug 2018. It looked great, and fit our style perfectly. It didn’t have a ridiculously high neck hiding our window which I prefer. I liked the option to switch between jet and shower head stream while washing in the farmstyle sink which helps get the food out those pesky corners. Here’s the negative, things I have to say. Now less than 9 weeks after install and daily use, in October 2018 the faucet head has fallen apart. The faucet head cracked inside where two inner parts screw together and while switching between jet and shower streams, the faucet just fell apart with the inner pieces dropping out into the sink. Now, I have a horrible messy and loud stream coming out of the faucet. Very disappointing with all the previous positive reviews that led me to buy this particular faucet. The single point of failure seems to be the screw in nozzle that just cracked all the way around it’s head. Once that cracked, everything else attached just fell out. After just over two months of use, this is just crazy. I’m so disappointed. I hope we can get an exchange for non defective faucet, but we will see after I contact the company. Anyway, I thought I’d share our experience. See pictures and video.Update After 2 week Replacement:The company did respond after I contacted them and sent a replacement survey head. I believe it was a few business days for a response. The faucet arrived about a week later which was pretty quick. I’ve had it installed about two weeks now, After comparing the previous broken faucet head to the new replacement, we noticed that the new faucet head actually had another internal ball bearing inside the head of the faucet piece that my original faucet did not have so maybe that could have contributed to the other faucet piece cracking throughout due to stress? Anyway, the faucet now runs as it did previously, but it is worth noting the water pressure is noticibly less. This could also be due to the ball bearing thing being in place that should have been there before. It is still a good pressure just not as forceful as before. The previous pressure could knock food right out of the sink corners on one pass. Now it needs work and help with a sponge but that’s not a dealbreaker for me. I’m updating the star rating to 4 now for the prompt customer service response and integrity of replacing the part, but can’t give a 5 at the moment until I give it a few months to see if the replacement will outlast and not crack again like the previous faucet head. At least Friho did not ignore my contact to them, and leave me with a broken faucet head. I greatly appreciate that. Which honestly, they could have done. I’ll re- update in a couple months once we get past at least that 9 week mark on how well this faucet is keeping up.
