Review on Enhance Engine Performance with Delphi AF10320 Mass Air Flow Sensor-Complete Assembly by Jay Buford

Revainrating 3 out of 5

It worked on my 1988 Corvette

. My car started and stopped immediately. I diagnosed it as a MAF sensor and bought a Chinese one for $70 as the original Bosch sensor is no longer made to my knowledge. The car ran with a $70 part but immediately received a code 36 due to a MAF burn-in issue. I had new mass airflow sensors in my car so I calculated that this part was not communicating properly with the ECM. That's why I bought this Delphi sensor. This fixed the starting problem and also eliminated the Code 36. Honestly, this $170 part is also made in China. (Most things seem to be) Anyway, this solved an issue I was having with my Corvette. The only bad thing is this is the second I have bought for this car in 18 months. I bought one from Revain in April 2019 for the same edition. Start and die instantly. 12 months warranty, no luck. The original Bosch sensor lasted 31 years. This lasted 18 months. I've owned the car since it was new. I hope this stays that way as I will not be selling the car. Autozone sells the same item for $30 more but has a limited lifetime warranty on it. I would have paid an extra $30 this time if I had researched before buying. Good luck with your old car if you have one of these classic cars. They can be annoying, but they're also a lot of fun to drive and own.

Pros
  • . Our MAF sensors reduce repair time by not having to replace the flow tube.
Cons
  • . Not sure.
