Review on BEZGAR Rechargeable Batteries for Hobby-Grade Performance by William Mahajan

We bought my son a Bezgar 1 truck for Christmas. He had wanted a quality RC truck for a long time, but not knowing if it would be a fleeting step, I didn't want to lose a few hundred bucks if he got bored. I read all the reviews and decided to roll the dice and I'm always glad I did. The whole family was having so much fun that I decided we needed a second truck, mostly because I was tired of waiting my turn. When I saw this new Bezgar 7 truck, it was exactly what I was looking for. I don't want a truck as big as my son's (he has an older 1/10 scale version) and you can't beat the price. This is a fantastic way to pursue what is usually a very expensive hobby at a fraction of the cost. And these trucks are really suitable for hobbies. Well built, very strong (with replaceable parts in case something breaks) and most importantly FAST. I was worried that the smaller truck wouldn't be as fast, but I had nothing to worry about. The controller has speed control so you can slow it down for beginners. My 12-year-old son slowed down for the first 10 minutes to get a feel for it, but he's been flat out ever since. The neighbor down the street also bought his kids RC trucks for Christmas and his (4-5 times more expensive) trucks have nothing to do with these guys. The battery life is fantastic, better than advertised. Even on mixed terrain (mud, grass, lots of snow) I expected 15-20 minutes per charge, but that's closer to 40. One thing to watch out for is that plastic cases get brittle in the cold, which doesn't mean that that the manufacturer or the product is to blame, it can happen to any RC car or plastic. It's just science (ask anyone who drives a convertible Jeep in the winter). My son managed to crack open the body of one of the trucks after rolling over several times on a particularly cold day (pretty cold, there's probably a warning somewhere in the documentation). It was all our fault. And even then it's hardly noticeable. Working with Bezgar support has been fantastic. I had no problems but when I contacted them about warranty registration they let me choose the replacement parts they sent. I chose extra batteries because you can never have too many batteries. I'll update if anything changes, but at this point I'm very happy with the performance and cost of both the trucks and the Bezgar. I would buy a car from them again anytime.
