Terrible product - color not as advertised on virgin hair and very dry/damaging

Complete disappointment. I had my doubts that anything sold as half/half could turn my very dark, almost black hair the beautiful shade of red advertised on the packaging (where it says specifically for black hair), and I had Right. This was very disappointing as I thought it would be less damaging than permanent box paint but it wasn't and I got minimal paint. In very, very, very bright light or sunlight a slight purple tint appears and my roots appear a lighter BROWN but that's about it. I ordered 4RR, neutral dark red. Instructions are a bit unclear if you have "virgin" hair. I rarely get my hair done because I'm glad I have minimal graying (knock on wood) in my 30s and I've bleached my hair for years and wanted to fix most of the damage. So I sometimes buy a gloss or glaze in my natural shade from the salon to bring out the tone and add some shine, but that usually costs $100+. So I decided to give it a try 7 months after my last salon treatment. Like I said, the directions were a bit unclear, but I've colored in a box in the past, so I colored the roots first, soaked the rest of my dry, unwashed hair thoroughly and let it sit for 20 minutes before rinsing and applying conditioner . Not only was my hair nothing like the color shown, it was drying my hair out like a box of permanent color. Pictured above 4 days after staining. I used the included conditioner that night and biotin the next day because my hair was like straw. I then straightened it thinking that maybe the color might show, but all it did was show how my hair looked tousted before it started frizzing and frizzing due to the high humidity. My natural hair is wavy to curly, prone to dryness and frizz. Due to the nature of my hair, I don't wash it every day. So now I have to wait for that to wash off so I can go back to the salon where maybe they can put my hair back to how it was before I tried it. But as an added bonus I have 2 color boxes that I will never use and I will spend all of summer 2021 looking like a straw haired stuffed animal after being cooped up in my house for all of last summer due to pandemics. Shame on you, Clyrol.
