Change 02.01.2021. My son says the monitor is working great now. I am returning headphones that did not work in the monitor. I just bought another one and will have it by Monday, if that doesn't work then I know for sure that this monitor is not working properly. 12/28/20 - I bought this item for my son as a Christmas present. To be honest I didn't know it was refurbished until one of my friends saw the details and said refurbished means refurbished. Anyway, my son opened the gift we pulled out of the box, everything looked brand new, it was nicely wrapped in the box, no scratches, nothing, it looked brand new to me. Setup was easy, image brightness, pixels, everything was fine. One way or another, my son started using the monitor that we put in the headphones, he hears everyone, but they don't hear him, for some reason the microphone doesn't work. We had a forked cable to make sure we were connecting the correct cables, but it still didn't work. So we had to take out some of the headphones and plug them into his controller, keep in mind he has a keyboard too. Also, he used it until yesterday, December 27th. The monitor came on, I think maybe it hit the cable and something came out, so I checked the back of the monitor. I checked the cords in the outlet, everything was fine, I just unplugged it and plugged the monitor back in, it worked fine. Then an hour later it all happened again and went off again. So today I'm going to return it and just buy him a new one because I'm not going to waste money on something that doesn't work.
