I had to learn something. I have never owned an electric toothbrush or irrigator. When I first flossed, I got wet all over. I had to google how to use it. Apparently it's a messy ordeal if you're not very, very careful. After the first few uses I had the same issue other reviewers have cited of the water pressure randomly being very low. The rubber gasket that connects the tank to the internals of the machine seems to "grip" properly. I've found that if I take the end of a standard toothbrush and gently squeeze the seal before turning it on, the machine works flawlessly every time. I LOVE LOVE LOVE how dental floss combined with an electric toothbrush cleans my teeth! The difference to a normal toothbrush is noticeable. Coupled with the fact that I was 25 years old when I first went to the dentist, I'm surprised my teeth haven't rotted by then. It's addictive how clean my teeth feel! I never thought about oral hygiene, it was just something I had to do. Now I'm really looking forward to just running my tongue over my teeth and feeling how clean they are.
