We have a new dining set, but unfortunately with fabric chair cushions... and we have small children and also many small nieces. This refers to messiness and stains during meals. My chairs are bigger and I had a really hard time finding the right size pillowcases. They said they fit and thank god they fit! They were very easy to install, fit perfectly and did their job perfectly.
