Let me start by saying I only gave 4 stars for durability because the steel is a little flimsy - can't really rate this as I've only had it 1 week. However, let me tell you this is a great self-closing bin for the price! It fits almost perfectly in the room we put it in - I couldn't have asked for a better size. The opening/closing mechanism has worked flawlessly so far. My wife is just in love with this bin - yes, she really said so. The 13 gallon bag fits inside the inner plastic liner and the top fits snugly on top. When the lid is closed, you can't tell there's a pocket there. I did notice a slight chemical odor from the plastic wrap as others have noted, but it was very faint and I saw no need to place it outside - it could be used straight away. is damaged I can order another one to replace it and it's still cheaper than big brands. This is a Revain branded product and I have bought a few other Revain branded products and have been really impressed with the quality - it is the same. Buy, you will not be disappointed.
