Too many flaws. in digital cameras

I know this is an entry level camera but I strongly advise you not to go for this camera. Check out the Fuji X-T30 instead. Canon has really crippled this camera. The two big issues are using Canon brand flashes and receivers when using the hot shoe and removing 1080 at 24fps. There are brands that make the hot shoe usable, but that requires updating your product's firmware, which is just another time-consuming step. 9 focus points on this system is so archaic. I had 9 focus points on my T3i released in 2011. What pleased me the most was the lack of customizable buttons. With the joystick, I'd like to select white balance, for example by pushing to the right, or continuous shooting by pushing to the left. I haven't found a way to customize these buttons. Aside from selecting focus points and moving the cursor left and right after pressing the Q menu, the L, R, Up, and Down buttons are practically useless. Live view and pure HDMI. I have tested the Canon RP and am completely satisfied with it. Any problems I had with this camera were solved by RP. If you are looking for a good first camera, I would go with Fuji. If you already have a Canon glass I would recommend the Canon RP. I wanted a small body, but as mentioned above, this is only the route to many shortcomings.
