For 2 years I've been using a homemade antenna, a PVC pipe with 16 copper wires on it. She pulls 26 stations with a $14 Walmart amp. will surpass my homemade. I tested it in the attic first, just hanging there. 38 stations. I was very impressed and couldn't wait to install it outdoors the next day. The next morning I turned on the TV and found there were only 2 channels available. automatically rescanned, still 2 channels. went to check the antenna in the attic. it was just the way I left it last night. checked all connections, everything ok. My homemade antenna was still out giving me 28 stations. So I moved the new antenna outside on my 21ft mast, confident that my reception would improve. When I got up the best I got was 17 stops. I set up a well established channel master that gave me 20 stations. , only there are fewer channels, here he is disappointed with the more than $ 200 I spent on this antenna, main channel amplifier and TV splitter. Anything to get fewer channels and more gaps than my ugly $40 DIY antenna. I want to take care of the hassle and pay for shipping. This product worked perfectly for 3 hours the first night, after that it was annoying and a waste of time to check, adjust, re-check, adjust etc.
