I have saved some Super 8 film with this scanner. The price is relatively cheap, but the digitizer itself makes a lot of noise. This is very noticeable when the same picture is taken multiple times. There should be a slight difference between shots of the same frame, but there is. It looks like extra film grain, but that's the digitizer itself. I've tried playing around with the brightness and sharpness settings to no avail.
