The case design is great for accessing the innards to flash custom firmware (Tasmota in my case). Not glued, but fixed with tabs and screws. The build quality is good. Haven't used stock management software with Alexa but have flashed firmware for local control (device doesn't "call home" to China. WiFi reception is strong with ESP chip (stronger than many comparable devices). So far very happy with overall design and results I've bought 8 S31's (both Lite and EM versions) and they all work (some other brands have suffered or missed a bit).Good quality control.
