First thing I have to say is that I have active Rheumatoid Arthritis so I've tried different types of compression and arthritis gloves hoping to find ones which provide the greatest relief from almost constant pain. These thermal leather gloves come very close to the best I've tried. I bought the size Small and they are very snug, which is what I wanted. I started wearing them for several hours a day to get used to it and it took me a while to learn to wear them longer because although I have thin bones I have long arms so the distance from mine Wrist to strap between my fingers is longer than the space allowed with gloves. That's why they attract my hands slightly. If I hold my hands straight for too long, the area between the ring and middle finger hurts. I don't think a larger glove is the solution because the rest of the glove fits and I even have some room in my fingers. I'm thinking of cutting a "V" right where these two fingers meet. I hope that makes sense. Alternatively, you can keep your arms half-bent while wearing gloves, but that tires my joints. PROS: They keep my hands warm and warm them up almost immediately after putting them on, which really helps with joint pain. They are comfortable once you get used to them and as I have small wrists the bracelet doesn't bother me at all. They make excellent driving gloves as they provide good grip on the steering wheel and help with hand fatigue, which is a major problem for those suffering from arthritis. I RECOMMEND these gloves to anyone with arthritis as the alternatives are uncomfortable (chronic pain, chemotherapy etc.). started tearing. However, they are in good condition. When I get a new pair I will consider making a slit or if I do sew the edges up.
