Had one last year but for some reason can't find it. The best invention! No sound when turned on, but when the bug gets hit!, everyone will hear it and jump! At least you can prove that it really works. The sound is less harsh when the machine is hung or placed in a room where you are not. Luckily I can highly recommend it. Take care of the box of fruit flies, house flies, mosquitoes and the beautiful West Nile mosquito. I was glad I chose this brand because it came with extra spare bulbs which I've heard are hard to come by.
