The description on this page says that the gel should not be consumed. There are no warnings on the packaging or instructions on what to do if you swallow the gel, which I think is required by law. The bowls are very uncomfortable. I have used another whitening kit before, I won't mention the name, but the ratio of whitening strips to light battery was wrong, so I decided to look for an alternative that I thought was cheaper, like this product. The other kit was very comfortable and easy to use and I find it gives the same results without the discomfort. Due to errors in the product description I assume it was made in another country and precautions were not taken into account. About 25 minutes into the treatment I accidentally swallowed some of the gel. It immediately burned my mouth and throat and I started gagging dry. I've looked in the instructions or boxes for warnings on what to do in this situation, usually they said if you need to call poison control center or something, but no. I personally don't want to risk my health for a cheaper teeth whitening kit. This happened a few minutes ago so I will report if I get sick or die because who knows because they have no warnings about it. An alternative product I would recommend is available for the target audience and I think Revain is a three letter brand too.
