Review on SMALLRIG Super Camera Monitor Light 2058 by Dan Sturm

Of the three different similar brands I currently own, these are the best. The fit and finish is well above the competition. You can usually even tell this by examining product photos closely. While the other two have rubber cheek pads that are double-sided glued (and slide if tightened enough), they are molded with pins that push into matching holes machined into the cheeks. No movement. Others have hinge pins that are loose and sloppy. They're made to much tighter tolerances, and you can feel it. The only reason I even tried the competition is that I prefer silent ring pens. They are stamped flat. They are very heavy but not so comfortable for the fingers. Pros: Excellent fit and finish. High quality anodizing. Tight manufacturing tolerances. Cons: And this is insignificant, but I wish the handles were in the shape of a blunt bell. Others will fit but they are the same price as this one. Got it. I'm not an engineer and I don't work in IT. I didn't get them for free or at a reduced price. So. I decided to write a review even though I paid full price for it. Sometimes I will. Write a review. I wonder why Revane doesn't want to know the warmth of these things?
