After receiving this blanket, I tested it for sleep. Wow, this can replace my used 10 lb silk comforter at a room temperature of 65 degrees Fahrenheit. I feel the warmth and touch of the skin. It doesn't smell like a factory. I usually need 2 blankets in winter. But I only need 1 piece of this blanket. It surprises me that even though it is microfiber, there is no static electricity all night long. I think it can be used year round, winter or summer in the Chicago area. It's really light, soft and comfortable. The pillowcases match my pillows very well. I am very happy with the purchase and would highly recommend this duvet to anyone looking for good quality at a great price.
