I don't know how you can call it a "wood" stool. It's not made of wood. I was so disappointed to find that all the parts were made from low density chipboard and covered in cheap veneer. When reassembling, a whole screw went through the pre-drilled hole and a piece fell off. The edges of the hole that the screw went through looked like torn cardboard. This is a very poor quality material. I thought I might have missed something when I ordered but everywhere in the description it says this is a tree. Pay attention to what you receive. I'm not sure it will hold 100 pounds and even if I could put it together I don't think it would hold my little one. Disappointed because the dimensions were exactly what I envisioned but this was returned.
