This thing is great for lens adjustment. It shows that there are a few things everyone should know. Here's a little rundown of my background/photo gear, just so you know I'm reviewing this from a semi-professional point of view. I currently have a canon 5d mark iii, 5d mark ii, 70d and rebel t5, it has worked on all of them. I usually shoot close-ups, portraits, events, weddings and cityscapes. I have a variety of instruments from vintage to modern, I got mine last Thursday and have been playing with it all weekend. Some vintage Fd lenses have problems with the adapter, mainly 3rd party lenses like Vivatar and Quantry2. PRO ONLY CONFIRMS FOCUS, NOT AUTOFOCUS! (I've seen a lot of reviews downvoted for the lack of autofocus lol)3. I put a 1.4 50mm lens on this bad boy and had to dial it down to at least f2.8, depending on the situation you can try f2 or f2.5 (medium aperture) to get a sharp 0.4. This is my main point and the reason why I only give the PRO version 3 stars. The chip fell off after 5 days of use. I could save a few bucks. I love this thing, it's a lot of fun and I plan on taking it on a trip to Florida next week and to say I wish the chip connection was better. I tried to reattach it but I don't think I built it right. oh ok i'll take the loss of $13 and just use it as an adapter for my fd lens collection.
