This is the tail of mommy torture you may not have to experience yourself if you are lucky or you will take my warning and be smarter than me. You see, as an experienced mother of 7 children, I ordered this exact pony very carefully. The smallest servant is obsessed with horses, like most of her older siblings before her. Getting an actual pony wasn't her plan, but this $250 beast was a possibility. Since she was 4 years old and of average height, I loved it when she listed this pony to her at ages 4-9. The box arrived in all its pony glory and showed the neighbors what was inside. Beautiful brown pony. It might have spoiled the surprise if our youngest overlord had seen him, but we were lucky and were able to carry him away to hide him for two days until that special day when he begins his contract life as the cutest pet. Princess. So the day came and my daughter opened her presents, lots of brown horses from the Spirit of Riding Free show and oh how she loves brown horses. I loved it, this pony looks a bit like Spirit. I was especially grateful for its color. Why? Because brown conceals stains and dirt well. Since this is an external toy, it matters. Given that everyone is a kid and kids are sloppy, it matters. I thought this horse would be perfect and worth every penny. Right? Right? So, the box comes out, and she was delighted to open the box, there are two parts. two. White. parts. Yes, they sent us a white unicorn, not a brown horse. You see the birthday theme was unicorns, of course our daughter loves unicorns. Everyone thought it was on purpose. Our daughter fell in love immediately. I stood there in shock, my mouth just dropped open. The husband looked at me, his war years masking his own shock. why would his wife do such stupid things he must have thought about. He immediately got to work, attaching the unicorn's head to the body. That's a simple thing. And suddenly she was riding a brilliant white horse and she was beautiful! Only the legs don't reach very well, and it's not regulated. Therefore, she cannot run it as intended. She is just 4 years old and too small. This didn't bother her though, at least you should know. We suspect she needs a few more inches for this average unicorn to work as intended. However. since the wheels don't move backwards, she moves her body back and forth so that it moves only a few inches forward, and so she crosses the house. It excites her beyond reason. So you would think this would get more than 3 stars while I have a happy child who can be expected to grow into this toy in a year or rather 2 years. Only we all know that any sane parent will tell you that this white unicorn will never last that long. My anxiety peaked during a birthday party when my cute, happy girl ran to her favorite unicorn with her hands covered in chocolate cake. I fell off my chair trying to get hold of those hands before they got to the white monster who is now torturing me in my house. I did not order this white unicorn. I have no idea what mother would say. maybe a photographer or someone who can replace it every few weeks when it gets dirty. You can't take the fur off and wash it, and washing stains, as we all know, doesn't last long. I did not order this white alarm monster. But you see From the moment it came out of the box, this unicorn couldn't be put back in the box. My daughter fell in love with him. She immediately called him Sandley. She combs her mane. (and yes, the commotion covers her brushes, which means she won't look good for long, but maybe your child won't) she feeds her the wrong food, she takes her on walks to keep her happy. You should know that our unicorn Sandy has dormant evil unicorn eyes. It's hard to make this pony happy! I have no idea how long this unicorn will live, I will say that not long for this world. I will update the review with photos when this traumatic mother story is over. My advice if you are ordering for your child have them delivered to a family member's home and please please for your sanity open the box immediately if you order a beautiful brown one you will also receive a monstrous white worry unicorn wanted bangs. When your kid is 4 years old, maybe choose the small size, or wait a year and buy the medium size when he is 5 years old. Much luck! May the odds always be on your side, they weren't on mine!
