I really regret buying 3 packs of these. Okay, I'll start off by saying I've used different brands of cat litter, both clumpy and regular crystals. I usually buy the cheapest 4 pound bag of Walmart Crystal Cat Litter for $5 and since going to Walmart with Covid is even worse than usual I decided to give this material a try. I mean what's the worst that can happen? My trays are in the basement, nobody goes there anyway. Ah, I was wrong. You usually can't smell my cats' litter boxes because they're downstairs on this one. you can smell them! I swear I thought my drain was clogged. It does not dehydrate feces like other crystalline litters. Usually my cats follow the trail a bit and my basement gets wet, not flooded, just wet, but the crystalline litter just absorbs moisture and sweeps easily. Not this stuff! First, this litter is like a thin crystalline glue that becomes sticky the moment a cat pees on it, then they go to bury it and their paws get covered. Then they come out and it's followed everywhere! While wet with urine. Needless to say I now have pink footprints all over my basement floor which I will do whatever it takes to make this happen. I can't clean. Back to Fresh Step Crystals I go. seriously don't care. The savings aren't worth the headache and damage this junk will cause. I've got two bags of this stuff left and I don't even know what to do with it.
