This decorative bowl looks great on our kitchen island. The only thing that confuses me a bit is how the base attaches to the bowl. It's a threaded bolt that holds the two pieces together, which is great, but the bolt is very short. If you break even one or two rows of threads, you will no longer be able to attach the bowl to the base. Just a concern, not a real problem for us yet.
