Update of the original review. Broke in less than 2 months of use. Go back and try a more expensive one, hoping it will last longer. This is the second brand I've ordered and returned due to a quick breakdown. They're all built the same, and the motors don't stand up to the stress of penetrating deep layers of tissue. Even if you don't apply/squeeze them, any significant pressure to penetrate the deep muscles and fascia will cause them to tear. I hope that the next one, from a different manufacturer and more expensive, will be more durable. Definitely penetrates the deeper layers of the muscles and fascia of the back. Like velcro straps for mid-back and lower back. I had a cheaper model from another company and it broke after about a month.
