Our daughter has struggled a bit in the area where she is studying at remote K School Despite social distancing there are others around her doing different things and heating louder , ventilation and air conditioning. She had hearing problems during class and the built-in microphone on the headphone cord of her old headset picked up too much sound, so her teacher often had to mute her, which was sometimes a problem. It doesn't have full earcups yet, so it cuts out ambient noise pretty well. Maybe a little too good in some respects, but we prefer it to be fit for purpose rather than not good enough. The microphone seems to be so unidirectional that the teacher can now hear her normally and doesn't hear the same level of background noise. However, something more. not so much as to require breaking their connection and making it difficult for her to participate. So overall happy with the purchase. However, we've only had them for a couple of weeks, so it's impossible to tell how tough they can be. But so far so good.
