I should have paid more attention to the reviews before I ordered. I needed a thin mat for a low clearance under our front door. Since this mat comes folded, rather than rolled, the creases completely defeat the purpose of having a thin mat. The mat itself is nice. I like the design and feel. It just sucks that the company has to essentially ruin the product by a poor packaging decision. Roll it up. It's not that difficult and customers will be way happier. I guess I'm getting the $40 mat I saw

I bought this to protect my dining room floor from a chair. it's pretty, and it's sturdy - it stays put when I move the chair under the piano.

the rugs came folded in 6 and the creases are too stubborn and cannot get the rugs straight on the floor. I do not know if I have to wash them first. Maybe rolled would have been good. Or maybe there are old and for too long sitting folded. I like the colors and the looks and hope they last

It really is nice and thin, but like other reviews have mentioned it comes folded up and the creases are hard to get out. Since the whole point of this rug was the low profile it sort of defeats it's purpose. If it were rolled up it'd be 5 stars.

so i dont mind this rug it matches very well with my apartment color scheme! it is very thin tho but it works out and the design isnt too distracting, i would recommend it, its not a bad rug!

Rug seemed great but it came folded instead of rolled. I've had it 2 weeks and the wrinkles are as bad as day one. I've tried heating it, reverse folding it, hanging it. Nothing helps. Very disappointed!

Other thin mats similar to this are shipped rolled. These mats are shipped folded and the folds just don't come out! Even after two washings. The colors are great, they are thin and grip the floor nicely - perfect for older people - but where they were folded never lay flat and create a trip hazard.

Our door sweeps low to the ground, and it's hard to find a mat that both looks nice, and is thin enough to stay in place when the door opens and closes. This mat is a nice dark color with a pattern so that dirt doesn't show too brightly. It's thin and doesn't bunch up and cause a tripping hazard, either. Handy when walking in the door with groceries!

I needed a very thin mat for the entry to my sunroom. The door opens inward and sweeps across the carpet. This one works for me and I am quite happy with the quality. It is saving my carpet from when the dogs come in from the rain. I think it would also make a pretty nice kitchen mat as it has a rubber back and is comfortable to stand on. Nice looking too!

These should come rolled, not folded up. They have lots of creases left over after unfolding that don't go away.We got the low profile rug because we needed a thin rug for a doorway, but the creases make parts of the rug stick up and get bunched up under the door as it swings.This also smells strongly like rubber/chemicals when unpackaged, but the smell goes away.If this would actually lay flat it would be good. Definitely a thin rug.

We were on the hunt for an ultra thin mat that would fit under a door. I finally found it and it's even better than we expected! This mat is soft, ultra thin, and easy to clean. We are extremely happy with this purchase because we can finally close our bathroom door without the rug blocking it.

This is a very nice rug. Beautiful brown, good quality with rubber backing BUT it had been folded and laying around for who knows how long in some storage area. The creases and folds were unfixable. I tried steam ironing with a towel between the iron and rug and then laying flat with with heavy weights for 4 days. No improvement. Not worth the trouble of sending back so into the garbage it went. If you could be assured that it would lie flat it would be perfect in front of a kitchen sink.

I have this inside my back door. Could never find a rug that the door wouldn’t catch and scrunch up. This one is perfect. It fits the entire width of the jam and is super thin.Good rubber backing. Never slides. Only low point is that the fabric doesn’t always catch sand as it’s kind of slick but it protects the floor and you can actually just sweep the rug like it’s part of the floor and not really need to shake it.

I finally found a this entry rug that fit under our door, but basically unusable because of the deep fold creases. We’ve tried putting weights on it, hanging it in the sun, etc. Nothing has taken the creases out. Why would these rugs be shipped like that? Why not rolled?

Just got it today and it's still folded from the shipping. Which I'd recommend rolling it and wrapping it versus folding. Very lightweight and fits almost perfectly under the back door. All I wanted was something to cover the floor when we come in from the back and this did the trick!

Had this only a few months and the top layer is peeling off making using it a hazard. Wahed oly a few times as instructed. Poor choice. Avoid it.

Perfect for cutting to size! My dryer is old and rusty on top so I cut this to lay over the rust. It makes a perfect custom cover that I can safely lay laundered clothes on. Cutting my 1 mat in half gave me 2 pieces so I used the remaining piece to set on top of my front load washer to set laundry soap, spot remover, etc on.

It is very soft and it fits perfectly in my doorway. No more having to adjust the rug because it's too thick to close the door. I am very pleased with this product.

Love the color and the rug. I would have rated it a 5 star but it came folded up and this created creases in the backing that will not wash out or flatten with use. I tried heavy flat objects, and a warm iron with a towel. Still going to use them but a little disappointed in how they look with the creases.
