What's the point if the mat comes folded rather than rolled?

I should have paid more attention to the reviews before I ordered. I needed a thin mat for a low clearance under our front door. Since this mat comes folded, rather than rolled, the creases completely defeat the purpose of having a thin mat. The mat itself is nice. I like the design and feel. It just sucks that the company has to essentially ruin the product by a poor packaging decision. Roll it up. It's not that difficult and customers will be way happier. I guess I'm getting the $40 mat I saw now. Ridiculous.
