This is a fantastic lens! I've had it since late 2012 and now I'm sure I'll write a review. There are many technical reviews, so I won't waste your time on technical aspects. I am telling you about my personal experience. This is officially my favorite lens. This is the lens I always keep on my camera body unless I need a different lens for something else. Super creamy bokeh - think you saw creamy? no What you think is creamy is not creamy. This lens makes the bokeh of other lenses a breeze. Autofocus is very fast, but you may need to get used to it if you're shooting at f/1.2 and want to focus on a very specific area. This lens is wide enough and narrow enough for great cropping [ie full frame]. The only downside to this lens is its price. It is about 13 times more expensive than 50mm 1.8 and 4 times more expensive than 50mm 1.4. I also have 1.4 and I will say that there is nothing to compare. There are big differences in quality. If you don't mind spending the extra money then I highly recommend this lens.
