Overall I am very surprised with this product. As for the color change, it works great. There will be a showdown. The bottles are very small and labelless, so as I said, print out a color sheet from this list, or do like me and draw stickers on the bottle caps. The varnish differs in consistency from the usual UV gel varnish, it appears much more viscous. It seems to help with painting but I'm not sure how often I'll use it overall but for the price can't complain. I had to apply 3 coats, which is one more than usual. Overall I really like it and it's a lot of fun. I'll explain how long it lasts in a moment ***Update: After 2 weeks I got my first small chips. (Photos attached) The gloss of the top coat was almost gone and started to fade after 1 week. (Top coat is not included in this set) Overall very happy with the durability
