Great looks and impressive value

I had a chance to look at a range of Chinese made in-ear headphones. From expensive to cheap, from great sounding to mediocre. Regardless of price, it is becoming increasingly common for the hyper-competitive marketplace to force companies to offer more for less. Kinera BD005 Pro is certainly no exception. The price is extremely moderate, their design and last but not least their sound are convincing. They don't work like "cheap" IEMs. Their design is particularly elegant and can hardly be distinguished from more expensive models. The packaging of the BD005 Pro is impressive at first glance. Open the beautiful hexagonal box and you'll find a sturdy and functional case, two sets of ear tips (small and large), an attractive detachable microphone cable, and the earbuds themselves. All of this is perfectly fine for IEMs, which are much more expensive. Design With an interchangeable 2-pin cable and an ergonomic shape, the BD005 Pro seems to belong to a much more expensive IEM level. The "dark blue” pair I received (albeit with a dubious name) is very eye-catching with the gold flecks and lettering built into the bezels. Golden highlights enhance the aesthetics and sparkle attractively in the direct incidence of light. Not too bright to border on bad taste, but bright enough to be attractive and interesting. They have a stylish design. The cable is regular plain braid and the black color won't draw too much attention or detract from the overall look. I appreciate the metal connectors and the clear L and R markings. Mic noise and cable tangles are almost minimal. Comfort The medium-sized IEM body is ergonomically designed to sit comfortably and fit more ears. Overall they are smooth, well made and not too heavy. My only concern is the flat shape of the earbuds and the decision to only include 2 sizes (instead of the typical S, M, L). This makes finding the right fit and seal difficult and may require listeners to experiment with additional ear tips. I found the large feathers fit quite well, but I'm not thrilled with them. Sound Honestly, I had to keep in mind the low price to give the BD005 Pro a fair price. Even for those who are used to the sound of more expensive models, the BD005 Pro is no small thing. They produce a fun and non-fatiguing sound that, while not the most technically detailed, makes for an entertaining listening experience. They have a V-shaped frequency response, but not too dramatic, with treble roll-off. They don't quite have the natural and full sound that can be achieved with the best headphones, but my goodness, they offer a lot for the money. this is no exception) produces deeper and fuller bass than a balanced armature driver. The sub-bass extension is surprisingly subtle, but still under control. The BD005 Pro avoids loud full tones and delivers just enough nuance to satisfy most listeners. The V shape is heavier than the natural sounding bass and comes into its own in the BD005 Pro. Please note that a limited choice of ear tips can greatly affect your bass perception. If you don't find a satisfactory seal with the attachments supplied, the bass reproduction will suffer. Mid Unsurprisingly, the mids have sunk into the overall sound signature, resulting in a certain lack of definition in the vocal range. That's not bad in and of itself, but it reminds us that the BD005 Pro sits well in the sub-$100 category. Mids just don't take center stage, and acoustically-minded listeners might want to consider better options. A big plus is the lack of glare in the upper mids, which is often found in inexpensive headphones. They avoid shouting, which can make long listening sessions tiring. Treble The treble reproduction is decent, albeit without a large increase in treble. I found a lack of upper-mid and lower-high harshness for the IEM in this range. There's decent brilliance and brilliance, but the BD005 Pro lacks that airy lightness found on other models. The overall listening experience is warm and focused on low frequencies. While not the best option for acoustic or string music, pop and EDM fans will find plenty to enjoy here. Conclusion In short, the BD005 Pro looks a lot more expensive than it is. They represent excellent value for money. They compete with IEMs that are twice the price and offer a significant upgrade over bargain, budget wonders. With a sleek, anti-fatigue build, comfortable fit, and attractive, well-crafted bodies, the BD005 Pro is your perfect choice. -go IEMs. With decent sound, good looks, and a price that won't break you if you stay on the bus, the BD005 Pro should be on your list of competitors in this price range. I appreciate the excellent quality and walk of the BD005 professionals: tireless and tasteful sound signature. Good bass response. Ergonomic cases are comfortable. Only 2 sizes included.
