I love hiking or french press hiking but this definitely has some design flaws. Pros: - makes a decent amount of coffee - good mesh and metal rod on plunger - light weight - has a comfortable sleeve so the heat doesn't burn your hands. Cons: - the square spout makes pouring almost impossible without boiling coffee running down your sleeve (and pouring all over your face) - the main chamber is made of flimsy plastic which unfortunately breaks on a rough ride - gives the coffee some plastic flavor. This is good press for outdoor activities but if I could go back I would spend a little more for a better French press.
