I've only had it for a short time but have tested it quite well. Pros: Connection is solid and all ports work as such (see below). My 1080P monitor is plug and play - I haven't tried this with a 4K monitor. It's small and light enough for travel, which is my main use. The loading works transparently. It might not be entirely obvious which port to plug the charger into, but there are no problems after that. No additional wall wart required. All ports are nicely labeled. Cons and possible improvements: When I connected a separate powered hub to the USB-C port, the USB 2.0 ports were disabled. It appears to be a design flaw. I would have liked it the other way around instead of 3 USB 2.0 ports and 2 USB 3 ports, but it's quite sufficient. An ethernet port would be nice, but it would require a more powerful case that would make it less portable, and you don't use ethernet that often when you're on the go. SD cards are inserted upside down. Update: I found that I can also use it as a port expander/SD card reader for my Mac Mini. USB 2.0 ports do not work properly, but 3.0 ports are fine. I'd rather say 4.5 stars if that were the case.
