I had higher expectations for this active seat. It consists of three stackable layers with a foldable base so you can use it as an active seat that rocks. All layers are made of hard plastic, so it's not very comfortable to sit on for a long time. I have another active soft seat but there is no option to use it as an inactive seat so I thought it would be useful to have such an option. It would be great if there was some padding at least in the seating area. I think it's decent at current retail, which sells for around $116, but there may be better options at this price point. I think it's great that you can use the three parts individually as a toddler seat or as a footrest. In such a case, they seem a bit expensive because they are actually only hard plastic.
