Description of 🍏 Smith System OODLE31 Oodle Active Seating Adjustable Height Stool - Apple: Enhance Comfort and Posture!

Plastic. Oodle is designed for use by students of all ages as sections may be removed to create seat heights of 7.5", 13.5" and 19.5". Seat diameter measures 17" ensuring every student feels comfortable (weight limit of 250lbs). Make it move! To add movement to Oodle, simply flip the movement disc over to the curved side, this will provide the student with a comfortable (and fun) 10 degrees of movement in all directions. Oodle moves only so far before the built in ‘stop’ engages at 10o of rocking, this prevents the user from feeling unstable. Make it stop! Let’s face it, active seating isn’t for every student (or every situation), for those students and situations, the movement disc is easy for a teacher or parent to flip and remove the movement from Oodle, To stack Oodle or sit flat, turn the movement disc over to the flat side and lock into place.

Grows with your active child!

This is the perfect task chair for your active kids that grows with them from 12 years old! You can add a section as they grow and either leave it on a rocking base so they can squirm freely or detach it for a stationary seat. You can even use this for 2 kids as long as they are small and leave separate sections.

The kids love it!

We bought it for our child's second grade. They already had a few and the kids always loved it when it was their turn to use the Oodle seat. They are almost enough for kids to use every other day. The teacher loves them because they allow children to constructively fidget without disrupting the lesson.

Unique anxiety seat on chairs and seats

My son has autism and ADHD and has used a variety of therapeutic aids to help focus in class including some swivel chairs. He is afraid of falling, which is why many with narrow bases have failed. I really like this Oodle Active Seating height adjustable stool for the feedback it gives so they can focus and its wide base for kids who don't have good spatial awareness or core stability. It really suits a wide range of abilities and developmental levels and thanks to its adjustable height it can…

Good for temporary seating

I had higher expectations for this active seat. It consists of three stackable layers with a foldable base so you can use it as an active seat that rocks. All layers are made of hard plastic, so it's not very comfortable to sit on for a long time. I have another active soft seat but there is no option to use it as an inactive seat so I thought it would be useful to have such an option. It would be great if there was some padding at least in the seating area. I think it's decent at current…

Difficult. Rather for older children or adults. Made in the USA!

Oodle seat. The Oodle seat comes in three sections so you can decide how high or low you want to sit. It was assembled in about 2 minutes and you can choose between a fixed seat or a rocking chair/clockwork. We opted for a rolling landing. The seats have markings on the plastic showing where the locking position is and the instructions clearly show what a successful fit looks like. This is a very sturdy stool/seat and is very heavy which would be great in a classroom or therapy setting but is…

Great height adjustable stool!

This Smith System Oodle adjustable height stool is really cool, but it can be a bit tricky to unscrew. Each seat is 17 inches in diameter and this height depends on how many pieces you have, with one piece it's 7.5 inches high, with two it's 13.5 inches and with all three it's 19.5 inches is high with the rocker base in place. Each chair is 6.5 inches high. . The maximum weight limit is 250 pounds. There is also a gray disc on the bottom that can be taken out and pulled out with the curved side

Heavy, chunky, looks like a portable toilet

Maybe I just had high hopes for this product, which was justified, but it was a disappointment. First off, this stool is HEAVY (nearly 20 pounds). Not great for the modular piece of furniture I thought I was getting and definitely not suitable for my younger elementary school kids (not only is it difficult for them to move it on their own, I worry they might drop it on their toes). It's a single piece of plastic, so it's impractical for the entire lesson, and disassembly of the pieces for…

Easily goes from wobbly to stable and height adjustable

This active Oodle pouf is actually my second Smith System branded product. I also got an adjustable table from them and I really liked it. That's why I was happy to try this stool, especially since my only son constantly slides around on chairs. We even tried about 5 different bar stools for our kitchen island because he kept tipping and falling over from constantly fidgeting when he sat and didn't even realize he was doing it. In fact, this stool speaks for itself. It consists of 3 separate…
