Review on Securely Store Your Food With Prepara'S Latchlok 17.6 Cup Tritan Container by James Kelley

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I love it for prepping condiments, & fruit.

I love this for prepping condiments ahead of time because it is very airtight and the vegetables do well in this. It's got a nice square shape so I can lay out slices of tomatoes, lettuce and onion in rows. It looks pretty to serve in too. It's also nice for washing fruit and prepping it ahead of time.It washes up easily and it goes in the dishwasher. It's also great for leftover soups, as it will store in the freezer. I might just have to pick up some more of these - I am looking forward to the sets becoming available. I'm thinking it would be great for marinades too! This is NOT a container that will easily spill. The only thing really to note is that I had to tell all my family to be careful not to pry the closures up- they SLIDE instead. There's little lock and unlock raised images on the lid. Once unlocked, you have to pull it a bit - it seals really well and it sticks a bit so it doesn't just come off without effort. It's not hard, but there's a bit of suction there.I love it. I also love that it is made of Tritan. That's tough stuff. I have some super expensive wine glasses made of that and they are very thin - but I have dropped a couple of them and they didn't even crack. My experience with Tritan is that it is a lovely material that is crystal clear and very tough.
